Our Top 5 Restaurants in Seattle

Whether it’s the weekend and you’re looking to hit the town or you’re just out and about driving your BMW and you’re looking for a great place to eat there are a ton of incredible restaurants here in Seattle that will satisfy your inner foodie.  Here are our top 5 recommendations from around the city and across cuisines:

  • Le Messe – 1903 Yale Pl E, Seattle, WA 98102 (lemesseseattle.com) – This place tops our list both for the excellence of the food and the vibe and layout of this contemporary Italian restaurant.  Focusing on handmade pasta with a dash of influence and ingredients from the Pacific Northwest, the restaurant is centered around a large chef-counter where patrons can watch the fresh pasta being made from their tables while they enjoy a glass of wine.  Entrees range from $15 – $35.
  • The Walrus and the Carpenter – 4743 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107 (thewalrusbar.com) – If oysters and seafood are your thing, this is the place for you.  Branding themselves as a marriage of a “restaurant to a fishing pub,” this popular and laid back eatery is a favorite of locals.  The menu here is constantly changing based on what is in season and plates are in the $15+ range.
  • Sushi Kashiba – 86 Pine Street, Suite 1, Seattle, WA 98101 (sushikashiba.com) – We’ve got to have at least one sushi stop on this list, and you’d be hard pressed to find better sushi in Seattle than at Sushi Kashiba.  Owned and run by the man the Seattle Time called, the “Sushi Sensei,” this restaurant brings not only fresh, flown-in, top-of-the-line tuna to the table, but also utilizes locally sourced seafood as well.  The signature sushi dinners start at $75 and a 20% gratuity is added to the order in lieu of a tip, so while it is well worth it make sure your wallet is prepared.
  • Junebaby – 2122 Northeast 65th Street, Seattle, WA 98115 (junebabyseattle.com) – This newcomer did not waste any time in turning heads and taste buds, as it was heralded as one of the best new restaurants in the nation in 2017.  Specializing in Southern food, this menu ranges from standards like BBQ brisket to unique items, such as Pork Neck Bones or a dessert called “Flips,” which is a flavored frozen ice dessert served in a Dixie cup.  Entrees are in the $20 range.
  • Art of the Table – 3801 Stone Way N Suite A, Seattle, WA, 98103 (artofthetable.net) – This place emphasizes the dining “experience” with the intimate space feeling more like you’ve been invited over to a chef’s house for dinner rather than going to a loud, bustling restaurant. With a focus and passion for locally-sourced ingredients and menus that change daily based on the best of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer, this restaurant deserves a spot on your must-try list.  Multiple course tasting menus start at $70.

So there you have it, our top recommendations for food here in Seattle.  We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
